Description: Common Mint is used fresh both whole leaves and chopped as well as dried. It is  highly aromatic and are perennials that tend to take over your garden! Common mint is commonly prepared in jelly, syrup, candy, ice cream drinks (both hot and cold) and with lamb.

Interesting Facts:

  • There are 13-18 different hybrid varieties of  mint that occur naturally.
  • This is why there is natural variation from plant to plant even within seed gathered from the same plant.
  • Mint oil is used to flavor mouth wash, gum, toothpaste and breath mints.
